The Lisbon Manual (2006) is produced by RICYT and represents the methodological manual to measure the Ibero-America transition towards the Information Society. Currently, it has a second edition dated from 2009, specialized in guidelines for the interpretation of statistical data and the creation of indicators on the Information Society in Latin America. Homogenizing criteria and methods used in the region to measure the progress of digitization from a comprehensive perspective. Among its novelties, this manual provides the Information Society Indicators Matrix, a useful tool for organizations immersed in digital transformation processes.
