The m-Health Observatory of the National University of Quilmes (Argentina) is an interdisciplinary research group aimed at contributing to the development and adoption of mobile applications for the health sector.
The m-Health seeks to generate and transfer specialized knowledge for the use of technological applications in the health sector, applying open and multidisciplinary approaches to identify and understand the digital determinants of human health.
To do this, the m-Health Observatory seeks to:
- Detect policies that support the development and dissemination of health apps.
- Understand the digital determinants of health.
- Identify patterns of development of apps for health.
- Test, validate and evaluate apps for health in social, economic, scientific and technological dimensions.
- Provide reports on relevant, timely and quality research and practices on digital health.
- Generate and transfer knowledge about health apps to citizens, health professionals, governments and industry.
