Once again, the University of Alicante campus set the stage for the “Strategic Intelligence Workshop for Innovative Organisations”, held from 3rd to 7th February as part of the VII Specialisation Course in Strategic Intelligence.   • Information Sources and Surveillance Strategies: Cristina Triviño Sánchez from e-Intelligent addressed the challenges of selecting and optimising relevant information sources for strategic surveillance, with particular focus on the impact of generative artificial intelligence on this process.
  • Software Tools for Surveillance and Intelligence: Francisco Ricau González from the Instituto Tecnológico de Informática (ITI) provided an in-depth look at the existing landscape of strategic surveillance and intelligence tools, while exploring various generative AI solutions available to professionals for enhancing and optimising their systems in the digital era.
  • Intelligence Analysis and Production: Rubén Arcos Martín from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos focused on developing critical analysis skills essential for effective intelligence production.
  • Intelligence Dissemination and Communication: Alba Santa Soriano from the University of Alicante and Alexis Alvear from Data UC discussed strategies for designing a communication and relationship management plan that supports the success of a surveillance and intelligence system, highlighting the power of data storytelling to present information in an engaging and comprehensible manner.
  • Panel Discussion and Success Stories: The event featured a roundtable with experts such as Antonio Valle Sánchez (INVAT-TUR), who shared his experience in the tourism sector, and Antonio Puertas, a consultant in intellectual property and technology scouting in the agritech industry.
