The University of Alicante hosted the French-Spanish Cooperation Meeting to foster challenges and opportunities of collaboration related to processes of tourism clustering and European projects.
In the framework of this meeting, progress has been made in proposals for cooperation with the École Supérieure des Technologies Industrielles Avancées (ESTIA). The first steps will focus on the mobility of students and professors of both institutions, technological innovation and the development of joint projects that favour the knowledge transfer to the territory. The UA and ESTIA have also addressed the possibility of carrying out the joint presentation of proposals to European projects calls in the field of innovation and sustainable tourism.
The meeting has also served to explore opportunities for collaboration from the processes of clustering and sustainable tourism development and in which the Bayonne Goazen Tourism Cluster Director participated with key players from Alicante Region such as ADLYPSE Alicante, Patronatos Municipal and Provincial of Tourism, Professional Associations, Social Council of the University of Alicante, College of Doctors and Graduates in Philosophy and Literature and Sciences of Alicante and (PROA Professional Union of Alicante).
The Observatory for Technology Transfer was part of the meeting.
