From 15 to 19 September, Varadero (Cuba) will host the fifth edition of SIGESTIC 2025, the Meeting on Management Systems for Information and Communication Technologies, bringing together experts, academics, business leaders, and representatives from the national technology sector.
Organised by the Information Technology Company of BioCubaFarma, this year’s event will focus on “Today’s Technologies for a Sustainable Future”, promoting the innovative use of ICT to enhance efficiency, digitalisation, and sustainability.
SIGESTIC 2025: Technology as the Key to a Sustainable Future
In a world where digital transformation is advancing at an unprecedented pace, sustainability has become a global priority. Recognising this challenge, SIGESTIC 2025 serves as a platform for exchange, bringing together experts, business leaders, and academics to explore the role of technology in building a more efficient and sustainable future.
Under the theme “Leave Your Mark”, the programme will feature keynote speeches, scientific presentations, and a trade fair. Key topics will include artificial intelligence in organisational processes, cybersecurity in the digital era, circular economy through technological solutions, and sustainability in business management.
A key highlight of the event is the Call for Papers, inviting researchers and industry professionals to share their studies and proposals. Submissions open on 10 February 2025, with a deadline of 20 April. Selected papers will be presented during the event, fostering new collaborations and synergies.
Beyond the academic space, SIGESTIC 2025 will also host a trade fair and business roundtable, where national and international companies can showcase their innovations, establish strategic partnerships, and stay up to date with the latest technological trends.
