The International Seminar “Practices, Experiences and Strategies in Open Science for Ibero-America” will be held in Buenos Aires (Argentina) from May 31st to June 2nd. It is jointly organized by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Productive Innovation (MINCYT), the Uruguayan National Research and Innovation Agency (ANII) and the Ibero-American Science Observatory, Technology and Society of the Organization of Ibero-American States for Education, Science and Culture (OEI).
Among the open data initiatives in science and technology, it will be presented #CienciaAbierta, the Science and Technology Open Data Portal of Argentina. It is a new platform that will allow all interested users to access valuable and organized information about the Argentine scientific and technological system, with the aim of facilitating their social use and promoting collaboration, transparency and innovation from open data.
