The value of technology monitoring and strategic intelligence is increasingly required for companies and organizations, especially nowadays with the changing context and digital transformation. For this reason, the University of Alicante launches the 4th edition of the Specialization Course “Strategic intelligence for innovative organizations“. The challenge is to keep helping professionals in the learning and implementation of monitoring and intelligence systems oriented to favour innovation processes.
#InteligenciaUA represents a certified program designed to be carried out from anywhere, which combines three training phases and will be taught by academics specialized in strategic knowledge management and experts in monitoring and strategic intelligence.
To date, more than 80 professionals have been trained in technology monitoring and strategic intelligence in the different editions, coming from countries such as Spain, Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Costa Rica, Peru, Ecuador, the Dominican Republic or Cuba. The organizations target are research groups, startups, knowledge and technology transfer offices, technological observatories, business R&D units, patent advisors, technology centres and public and private institutions linked to both technology scouting and strategic intelligence.
The main objective of the training program is to provide companies, entrepreneurs and professionals the conceptual and applied specialized skills in strategic intelligence, knowledge management and intellectual capital for innovative organizations. For this, the contents of this course will focus on four thematic modules:
Strategic direction
Knowledge management and intellectual capital.
Strategic implementation.
Strategic intelligence
Methodology and calendar:
1 – Online Phase: October 1st, 2021 through e-learning University of Alicante platform.
2 – In-Class Phase: February 7th to 11th, 2022 “Strategic Intelligence Workshops”, held at the University of Alicante, Spain *.
3 – Final Work Phase: February 14th, 2022 until the 30th of June 2022. Participants will develop the final project, with guidance and tutorial advice from professors.
*Subject to the possible determination of the business continuity plan of the University of Alicante, by which the Workshop could be transferred to online mode if the entity so decides in response to the health crisis of COVID-19.
