The MOOC “Technological transfer: From research to the market” is launched and promoted by the Directorate of Transfer and Development of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. It has the CORFO support and the main goal is that the research results can become products or services that impact on the quality of life.
This MOOC aims to strengthen the capability management of academics and researchers regarding the technology transfer issues. It aims to be a support for all those who want their research results to become products or services that impact on the quality of life of people by transferring them to companies or institutions, or through the generation of technology-based ventures. Likewise, the course allows deepening the intellectual protection mechanisms, in the different variables that will define a transfer strategy, generating guidance material for those who support technology transfer and the creation of technology-based enterprises in the early stages.
