CV+i Health Day: Agenda and activities
CV+i Health Day will take place at BIOHUB VLC with the primary goal of connecting regional healthcare professionals to accelerate innovation in areas such as personalized medicine, diagnostics, advanced therapies, health ICT, medical devices, and the microbiome, among others.
Throughout the day, in addition to the conference program, there will be activities such as a startup competition in the health sector and networking sessions, designed to facilitate contact and foster collaboration among attendees.
The event will begin at 9:00 a.m. with the institutional welcome, followed by the first keynote at 9:10 a.m.: “Innovation: The Journey from Healthcare Research to Market”. In this session, three prominent speakers, Ainhoa Genovés, Angela Pérez, and Maite Vázquez, will share their insights on how to take innovation from the lab to the market.
At 10:00 a.m., attendees can choose between two simultaneous sessions: the presentation “Innotransfer: Open Innovation Opportunities in Hospital Management” in the auditorium, or the discussion on pioneering microbiome projects in the hall, with experts such as Michela Amato and Olga Carbonell. Meanwhile, starting at 10:30 a.m., the exhibition area on the terrace will open, where innovative startups will showcase their advances in the healthcare sector.
At 11:00 a.m., the startup competition will take center stage, with eight teams presenting their most disruptive projects in the auditorium. Simultaneously, in the hall, a roundtable on innovation in health ICT will be held, covering topics such as data science, digitization, and artificial intelligence.
At midday, there will be a session on leading projects in personalized medicine, featuring speakers such as Nuria Cabedo and Greta Carmona. This will be followed by a lunch and networking session on the terrace, providing an ideal space to strengthen connections.
In the afternoon, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., two parallel blocks will take place: one focused on innovation in diagnostics and advanced therapies, and another on medical devices. Noteworthy speakers include Nicolás Cuenca and Carlos Castañer, who will share their research and experiences.
The event will conclude at 4:30 p.m. with the awards ceremony and closing remarks, marking the end of a day filled with opportunities for healthcare innovation.
